Bored by May Day, techie executes one year plan perfectly

Bangalore, pre May-Day, 2018

A city based techie working for a major garbage aggregator, executed his one year plan in waiting today.

Mahesh, 27, has always been bored by May-Day. "Mid week holiday and even our US office is closed. It's the most irritating day of the year. I thought I would go mad if this continues every year. Nothing moves on this day. So I made up a plan in 2017 to figure out what to do on 2018 May Day."

The entire process stretched for six months. Mahesh adds, "It was tough. Planning isn't easy. It effected by daily routine of reading India-Pakistan comments on Youtube. At one point, I was so stressed that I shouted at my boss for no reason." As per our sources at Kacharwala, his boss got really pissed and when Mahesh confronted him with "That's what you do all the time", the boss got super annoyed and escalated the matter to his senior, shouting at them for no apparent reason.

Mahesh told us what his plan was. "After overthinking and over-analyzing numerous times, I decided that the best way to kill time on May Day is to write a blog about "How to kill time on May-day". One just has to get 20 points, and then publish every year with different headlines: '5 ways..', '7 ways..', '15 ways..'."

The techie also admits that his virtual girlfriend was not happy, as she had planned a 3 hour movie date with him, on Netflix, on different devices, in different cities, simultaneously.

" I don't want to be a slave today. I told my girlfriend to do dusting of her house so that she could pass time (her maid has taken a labor day off)", he concludes.
