Night and Day

I love them both,
One brings out the Jekyll in me,
Other the Hyde...

The morning gives me peace and serenity,
I shine as the Sun reflects on me,
But the night stirs the passion in me,
As I ardently romance the Moon.

I love them both,
One helps me make an identity,
Other helps me find one...

I need the light for my sanity,
But too much of it can make me wilt,
I need the dark for my rhapsody,
But too much of it can make me manic.

I love them both,
One brings the promise of a beautiful start,
Other the anticipation of an adventurous end...

The magic happened at 9 PM on a Tuesday in June'25. There was waiting, then cries and shivering. But the process had started around 8.30 in the morning. The water broke as she sat in the living room. Sakshi had wondered how she would know whether it was a water break or a false alarm. But coming out of the loo, she could confidently say that her water was broken. Even the Leave campaign supporters woke up to the shock that they had won. Brexit was finally here. It was so crude that the National Democratic Party of Britain had to admit the fact, within hours, that the 350m Pound it had promised to bring back into the National Health System was a lie. Another point they admitted was that migration would not be stopped. The remain campaign also had their fair share of lies. But sadly, they did not get a chance to admit them. But everyone loves a big fat lie. It is so juicy and unmistakably truthless that you have to believe the sheer (dis)honesty it is mentioned with.
